What made me surprise from the dinner, however, was that half of us knew someone through totally different path. She is one of my close friend and also a new employee of another Korean-oriented S group (you may know). I worked with her at Youth CLIP together for a year. JY knew her through her graduate friend and IC knew her through Ge-Mckinsey trainee program he joined last year! As she made human networks each by each, it may be natural that we're talking about her at the place she isn't and dare imagine it! At that time I couldn't but remind the famous law, six degrees of Kevin Bacon. He definitely would not so far from me, for I'm living in Korea, a small but totally-well- networked country.

The trivia game Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon is based on a variation of the concept of the small world phenomenon and states that any actor can be linked, through their film roles, to Kevin Bacon. The game requires a group of players to try to connect any film actor in history to Kevin Bacon as quickly as possible and in as few links as possible. The game was played across various college campuses as early as the early 1990s. Its name is a pun on the stage play Six Degrees of Separation.
